At OXWheels we believe that high-performance forged wheels shouldn't be a luxury reserved only for the elite. For 2026, we are proud to introduce our Forged 6061 Series—a revolution in wheel manufacturing that brings aviation-grade materials and superior strength to the everyday enthusiast.

Why 6061-T6 Aluminum?

Not all aluminium is created equal. We exclusively use 6061-T6 alloy, the same material used in aircraft wings and fuselage structures.

The "Pressed" Advantage: Stronger Than Milled.

While many competitors "mill" their wheels from a solid block (removing material and cutting through the metal’s natural grain), our Forged 6061 Series is precision-pressed.

Why does this matter?

• Continuous Grain Flow: Pressing aligns the molecular grain of the alloy to the shape of the wheel. Think of it like a bundle of wires—it is much harder to break them when they are pressed together than when they are cut.

• Increased Density: The high-pressure pressing process eliminates "porosity" (tiny air bubbles found in cast wheels), making the metal significantly denser and more resistant to cracks.

• Lighter Unsprung Mass: Because the metal is stronger, we can use less of it. This reduces the weight of the wheel, improving your vehicle's acceleration, braking, and suspension response.

• Tested Beyond the Screen. While milled forged relies only on computer analysis, our wheels are physically pushed to the limit. Every design is track-tested on specialized machinery to meet TUV and JWL/VIA international safety standards. Safety isn't an assumption—it’s a certified fact.  

  
  

Custom Machined in Australia

Every set of our Forged 6061 wheels undergoes final precision machining at our Blackburn, Victoria facility. We don't believe in "one size fits all."

Using our in-house CNC technology, we tailor every set to your specific vehicle:

• Custom PCD: From 5/98 to 5/127 and beyond.

• Precision Offsets: Tailored to the millimetre for the perfect flush fitment.
